“ Met a friend there, to visit a bit. Owners are cheerful and the establishment is clean and well lit. Atmosphere is laid back. I do not drink coffee, but they have a good selection of teas. I did not look at a food menu, so I can't attest to anything on it, I only saw coffee and tea menus at the front counter. Check it out! ”

“ Amazing coffee shop in a tiny town! The ceremonial grade matcha is hand whisked and delicious. They offer coconut milk, which is hard to find in coffee shops. Great quality and friendly, helpful staff. The interior is so visually interesting and inviting, spacious with lots of comfortable seating, lovely decor and ambiance, and big glass windows that make for beautiful lighting. The stone wall is covered in funky, colorful artwork created by a local artist. They even have a little free library that’s well stocked, plus games to play. Perfect place to work remotely or meet with friends. I highly recommend Dwell House! ”

“ This is an awesome place to stop by if you are traveling from Austin towards Places like Rising Star, Lampasas, Abilene etc. it’s a beautiful coffee shop in a historic building.. Loved the vibe and the coffee here! They do display paintings from local artists on sale.. the food looks amazing though I don’t try it… when I checked with my host they told that it is made fresh everyday .. everything was hand made.. so if you want to take a break a short diversion is what you need to stop by here! ”

“ My wife and I were on our way to Farmer's Commons and wanted to kill some time before our reservation. I did a search for coffee in Florence, and this place came up with good reviews. I'm sure I've been in a Dwell coffee in another location, so I'm guessing its a small chain. The place was dimly lit, clean and not very busy. A large coffee grinder sits at the front of the store (not sure if they use it, or it's just for show). There looked like enough seats to sit and work or study, and their seats were comfy, too. In the far corner they had two local business' selling their wares, which I thought was great. One sold pots and plants, but I can't remember what the other one was selling. The shop also sells beers, hence the sub-name calling out coffee & tap. They had a small merch area (as most coffeeshops do now) and I really liked their growler bottles, but couldn't purchase one without filling it with beer (I don't drink beer, so that sucked). I asked for a Flat White (which wasn't on the menu) which the barista quickly replied that she hadn't had much experience with but would create one for me. I agreed and got the drink. I didn't try any of their pastries/food, so I have no opinion there (maybe next time). It wasn't as rich as I was expecting, but it was flavorful. I may try a cappuccino on my next visit. For this area of Florence, I don't think there's a coffeeshop as good as this one, and I will be sure to return next time I'm nearby. ”
